Originally, the E family had planned on Christmas tree farm photos outside. When we booked the session, the weather was supposed to be nice. But this is Missouri, and we all know that Mother Nature loves to change her mind, especially on the St. Louis side of the state. The day before this session, I checked the weather and started to get nervous about how cold it was going to be. So I had the grand idea to set up a large backdrop, move all the trees inside, and give that a try.
Luckily, it turned out even better than planned, and the sweet E family was happy not to be out in the cold! Having an in-home studio isn't ideal, but nothing that suits has come up for rent, so I am BEYOND grateful that we have the space here to make it work. I love to have this cozy, versatile space. It means that I won't have to wait for the weather to be nice to continue to offer fantastic sets for my wonderful clients!
