Don't you love the "This Day In History" feature on Facebook?!?!
Every morning, when I'm sipping my tea, I absolutely LOVE checking my memories in Facebook. Today brought up a fantastic memory from 2019. It was a balmy January day, so we loaded up the kiddo and his favorite Christmas Gift and hit the trail! This trail is located at Route 66 State Park in Eureka, Missouri. It is a favorite place for us!

Look at how excited he was!
I almost didn't take my camera, but Scott reminded me that I would probably regret leaving it at home. I've never loved filming in full sun. This day changed everything about that for me.

He wanted to be able to carry his Zebra, so we added a bright red bag. This helped us track Mr. Speedracer a bit easier as well!
Missouri has some lovely State Parks. Route 66 State Park is located just off hwy 44 in Eureka. There is a playground, hiking, trails, paved loops for things with wheels, and parking for horse trailers. There is also a boat ramp with river access.

In Missouri, January always gives us some nicer days. I like to think of it as a belated Christmas gift, and something for us to enjoy before the bitter cold of winter sets in. We always keep an eye on the weather so that we can take advantage of these nice days.

2019 was a wonderful year filled with amazing photos of this kiddo. We were always on the go, always having some kind of adventure.
