What an adventure Missouri weather is....

Any photographer living in the midwest, especially St. Louis, knows to watch the weather like a hawk. That goes year-round, because our weather is crazy. It's no secret that we have had VERY chilly weather this month. I dutifully checked the weather report the evening before this session, relieved to see only overnight flurries in the forecast.

Imagine my surprise when I woke up to three inches of snow!

I'd been prepared for rain, with the studio set up inside. I hadn't been prepared for snow and country roads. I knew that the W family was coming from an hour away for this session. When I reached out, I was greeted with an UP FOR ANYTHING attitude! The session was on and we decided to do half inside the studio, and half outside in the snow. The photos did not disappoint and the W family had a great time! (They didn't get snow at their house, so it was fun for the kids!)
